Made-to-Order & Customisation Policy

Selected Dar Caftan products can be prepared using custom measurements or reviewed for design changes. This service helps customers order a garment suited to their measurements and preferences, but it requires clear approval before production.

Available Requests

Depending on the garment, a customer may ask about custom body measurements, garment length, sleeve or neckline adjustments, selected decorative details, or colour and trim alternatives when available. Not every request is technically possible, and a change may affect the design, balance, price, or preparation time. We confirm what can be supplied before accepting the custom order.

Measurements

Customers must provide accurate measurements using our measurement guidance. Measurements should be taken over light clothing, with the tape level and comfortably fitted rather than pulled tight. We may request bust, waist, hips, shoulder width, sleeve length, garment length, and height. If a measurement appears inconsistent, we may request confirmation before production.

Dar Caftan is not responsible for fit problems caused by measurements supplied incorrectly. We remain responsible for producing the garment according to the measurements and details we accepted, subject to reasonable production tolerances.

Quotation and Approval

The listed standard price may not include custom changes. Before a non-standard request is accepted, we will confirm the requested details, additional cost if any, and estimated preparation time. Customers should review that confirmation carefully because production follows the agreed specification, not an earlier informal idea or unconfirmed message.

Changes and Cancellations

Contact us immediately if you need to change an approved custom order. Changes are not guaranteed once production has started and may require an additional charge or revised completion estimate. Custom and personalised orders cannot normally be cancelled after production begins.

Fit Expectations

Custom measurements improve sizing accuracy but do not replace an in-person tailoring session. Final fit also depends on the garment’s cut, fabric behaviour, undergarments, footwear, and personal preference. Minor local tailoring may sometimes be appropriate after delivery.

Returns

Made-to-order, made-to-measure, altered, and personalised garments are generally not eligible for a change-of-mind return. If a garment arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the accepted measurements or design specification, contact us promptly with photographs and relevant details.
